The Foundation Friends of Florence, together with the “Opera of Santa Croce” and the special supervisor for the fine arts of Florence has restored the Wooden Crucifix by the Master of Figline inside the Church of Santa Croce.

The restoration has begun in 2009 and it was possible due to the generosity of the Foundation of the Friends of Florence whose founder and President is Mrs. Simonetta Brandolini d’Adda. The Friends of Florence are engaged to support and to promote the safeguard and the well-keeping of the artistic and cultural heritage of the works of art in Florence and throughout Tuscany, and by this way they have continuous and durable relationships with the main public and private institutions of the Region.

Therefore another great opportunity from the human and artistic point of view for the city of Florence and the whole Tuscany.
