The 19th China International Clothing & Accessories Fair (CHIC2011) jointly sponsored by China National Garment Association (CNGA), China World Trade Center Co.,Ltd. (CWTC), and The Sub-Council of Textile Industry, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT TEX), was held successfully in Beijing from March 28 to 31, 2011. CHIC2011 with more than 60 activities at the same time has attracted more than 1000 brands from 19 countries and regions to display and over 110,000 visitors, exhibitors and professional visitors had the effectiveness and perfect matchmaking through CHIC2011.
«China International Clothing & Accessories Fair (CHIC2011) surpasses the expectation and it is extremely impressive». Member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, Vice Premier Zhang Dejiang appreciated CHIC2011 after his visiting on Mar 29th.
Du Yuzhou, the President of CNTAC also expressed that CHIC2011 reflects not only the development status of garment industry and brands, but also reflects the improving textile technology and design standards. Garment industry has been involved in the upstream textile innovative design, bringing a new way of life.
CHIC Discovery | Local Brands Grow into Maturity
There are more than 600 local fashion brands covers nearly 80,000 square meters at CHIC2011. Multi-brand operation has beyond the single brand management, men's wear enterprises are not only related to the men's wear brand extension, but include men and women, children and other horizontal extension of all apparel products; In the transformation and upgrading, Chinese women's wear brands is constantly revaluate and discover to find a suitable way. Kid's wear brands are springing up; In addition, e-commerce is blooming, retail formats has become one of diversified development trend of Chinese kid's wear enterprises.
CHIC Discovery | International Brands Seek More Business Opportunities
Meanwhile, International fashion brands found out their channel partners to enter Chinese market through CHIC.
«Overseas Pavilions had outstanding performances with the largest scale and brands number on record at CHIC2011. The vitality and potential of Chinese market is winning the attention by overseas brands as well as overseas brands are accelerating the pace to enter Chinese market». Sun Guowei, the Director of China World Exhibitions made the above statement when interviewed.
There are more than 300 brands from America, Germany, Italy, France etc. with 23,000 square meters displayed on CHIC2011. Apart of Italy, France, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan that has attended in CHIC 2010, three exhibition pavilion, United States, Germany and Japan joined CHIC2011. Compared with the previous years, an independent overseas brand is one of the highlights in CHIC 2011, counting for 45% of the total exhibition area of overseas halls. Meanwhile, overseas brands shows the world's latest fashion trends to Chinese distributors and consumers as well, for example, so-called «Style Signature» collected high-end boutique of women, fashion, leisure wear and accessories from Europe and America.
CHIC Discovery | Achievements From the Meticulous Work
In 2011, brand became the value creation core of Chinese garment industry, around the required elements of brand building, CHIC had organized relevant activities to promote and guide the growth of local brands since the 1st year.

The Nineteenth China International Clothing & Accessories Fair (CHIC2011) will be held from March 28 - 31, 2011. The China National Garment Association has officially appointed NC.STYLE as CHIC 2011's public relations and promotions agent. March 28, 2011 - At this year's four-day China International Clothing & Accessories Fair (CHIC2011) will be the grand opening of the China International Exhibition Centre. During the event, NC.STYLE will officially launch «CHIC2011- Nicole's Sina Live Fashion» - a 70sqm live media booth in the W2 Overseas Pavilion, happening daily from 11:00 am -16:00 pm. During the expo there will be videos and online coverage streamed live on their social media sites.
Guests interviewed in the booth will include popular designers, celebrities, media executives, fashion industry experts and China's top business people defining the fashion and retail industry. NC.STYLE's founder, CEO and president, Nicole Chen will be hosting face-to-face dialogue, giving insights into China's new and changing fashion industry.
