Once upon a time a boy, as many other boys and girls, liked the circus. This was not a very big circus located in the outskirts of the city and when we drew near the big tent we could feel in the air the rough smell of animals along with the hay. However a charming world full of fancy personages, sometimes happy and some others a little bit sad. The Black Circus was born five years ago by an idea by Leandro, it is the great love for the circus, for the protagonists of the fantasy that we find there, and it reminds us the world of the films created by Fellini. Women and Men of the circus that give their creativeness to charm and to enjoy people of the world, they are ready to surprise us with their ability to let us dream and their costumes are designed by young stylists. The Black Circus has become a large family, the event that was born in Florence has become famous in the whole country and abroad as for example in Rome, Venice, Naples, Positano, Ibiza, Moscow, Dubai and in 2013 save the date in Brazil in Rio de Janeiro for the celebrations of the well-known Carnival. Therefore starting from the successful performance in Florence now the Black Circus takes its message of fantasy and joy all over the world.
