The great exhibition dedicated to Pier Luigi Nervi has just started at Palazzo Giustinian Lolin on the Canal Grande, the headquarters of Permasteelisa Group and of the Foundation Ugo and Olga Levi onlus. The exhibition is under the High Patronage of the President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano, and it is within a large cycle of international exhibitions which are devoted to the well-known architect, promoted by the Centre International pour la Ville, l’Architecture et le Paysage de Bruxelles along with MAXXI, the National Museum of the arts of the XXIth century just open in Rome and also by the Association Pier Luigi Nervi Research and Knowledge Management Project – with the chairmanship by the nephew of Nervi, Marco.

The exhibition is organised during the 12th «International Exhibition of Architecture», a connection properly planned as the topic of the exhibition is «People meet in Architecture». This is just what Nervi, during his long and famous career, tried to achieve that is the great structures and projects always at the service of the good well-being of the society.

The exhibition at Palazzo Giustinian Lolin is displayed in various sections, and it is also a nice opportunity to visit a very refined Palace which otherwise would be difficult to see as it is the head office of a private group.

The catalogue is published by Silvana Editoriale in Italian, English and French and it is the first study concerning the works by Nervi realised after his death.

Therefore the only suggestion I can give you is to visit this special exhibition dedicated to Pier Luigi Nervi as he has represented the scientific and creative image of Italy in the world.
